One Baby Daddy…

So my girl went LIVE early. Yesterday to be exact, however, with today being the official release day, I want to give away a copy of Meghan Quinn’s One Baby Daddy to a lucky reader…DETAILS BELOW!

OneBabyDaddyHalfCover (1)What are you doing now that your team is out of the running for the Stanley Cup?”

Forget.

I need to forget. I need an escape.

Only one person isn’t falling for my reputation as the NHL’s Golden Boy; she captured my attention the minute she called me out for snooping through my best friend’s house. She didn’t want to hear my reason–she only wanted to playfully give me a hard time.

Adalyn is bold, sassy–and the perfect escape.

She’s everywhere. In town and in my dreams, and suddenly I need to spend every waking moment with her.

And I do, making this summer the best off-season I’ve ever had.

But in the midst of getting lost in Adalyn, what I don’t expect is to get her pregnant.

And what I definitely don’t expect is having to fight for her affection.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:

Born in New York and raised in Southern California, Meghan has grown into a sassy, peanut butter eating, blonde haired swearing, animal hoarding lady. She is known to bust out and dance if “It’s Raining Men” starts beating through the air and heaven forbid you get a margarita in her, protect your legs because they may be humped.

Once she started commuting for an hour and twenty minutes every day to work for three years, she began to have conversations play in her head, real life, deep male voices and dainty lady coos kind of conversations. Perturbed and confused, she decided to either see a therapist about the hot and steamy voices running through her head or start writing them down. She decided to go with the cheaper option and started writing… enter her first novel, Caught Looking.

Now you can find the spicy, most definitely on the border of lunacy, kind of crazy lady residing in Colorado with the love of her life and her five, furry four legged children, hiking a trail or hiding behind shelves at grocery stores, wondering what kind of lube the nervous stranger will bring home to his wife. Oh and she loves a good boob squeeze!

Virtually Impossible…Review

virtualBlurb: Sara has a kick-ass life—loyal friends, a house in San Francisco, and an amazing job as a virtual assistant. It’s perfect…except that Sara doesn’t actually exist. She’s just a borrowed name that Andi Clark hides behind. Using a fake identity lets Andi stay safely shielded behind the screen of her computer and concealed from the real world. With her history, pretending to be someone she’s not is the only way Andi can make up for the mistakes of her past. Not exactly ideal, but hey, no one’s life is perfect.

Actually…

Hayden Bennett’s life is pretty damn perfect. He’s married to a beautiful woman, lives in a luxury apartment, and is prepped to take over the multi-million dollar company his father built. Perfect…except that his wife is madly in love with someone else, his career is meaningless, and he’s forgotten how to live, let alone be happy. But when Hayden hires a new virtual assistant named Sara, her sharp wit and intelligence leaves him wanting something more. Something real. Something incredible.

Two people need to wake up to understand how perfect they are…for each other. If they can’t, any chance either of them have of finding a happily ever after will be virtually impossible.

Review: So this is book can be read as a stand alone but is the 2nd book in a series. The first book, Darker Water, was really good and you, of course, can read my review by clicking the above ^^^^^^^^. Now this book focuses on Carson’s brother Hayden and his budding relationship with his new “virtual” assistant Andi. I will say this book isn’t as “romantic” as the previous book. This is more of a suspense with a little romance thrown in but it’s still good.

Andi is a computer genius but because of some hack she performed back in college she is closely watched when it comes to computers. She works for a virtual assisting company where she meets, through phone calls and emails, her new boss Hayden. Hayden is an exec looking to move up in the ranks at the company his father and father-in-law started and he has just the deal to seal the deal but because he is a workaholic asshole he can’t keep an assistant. This is where Andi comes in.

Now some people will have a problem because Hayden is married so this feels like cheating but trust me when I say that isn’t the case so don’t write this off just yet. There is a lot of scheming and backstabbing that happens here but Hayden is a faithful gent and you will love him for it. The relationship he has with is wife is interesting. There are a few things I love: 1. Hayden is absolutely grumpy, lovable and handsome. 2. The author never really tells us what Andi looks like, so you can draw your own conclusions. The things I didn’t love quite so much was the build up to their meeting. I guess that is a bit of a spoiler but I was expecting much more from that situation. You can’t quite call it insta-love because they do get to know each other somewhat but you guys let me know how you feel about what happens when they meet. I did enjoy this book though, so I will give it 3.5 stars.
